Project Overview

Developed an end-to-end predictive analytics platform that forecasts the future relevance of professional skills using real-world labor market and technology trend data.

The system combines job posting analytics, GitHub ecosystem growth, Google Trends signals, industry adoption metrics, and AI disruption indicators to estimate long-term skill demand.

The project introduces a proprietary Skill Extinction Score (SES) that ranks skills based on future sustainability and market relevance.

Historical trend data is processed through machine learning forecasting models to identify emerging, stable, and declining skills across technology, business, and engineering domains.

The platform enables students, professionals, and organizations to make data-driven career decisions by highlighting future-proof skills, identifying extinction risks, recommending learning pathways, and suggesting career transition opportunities.

By integrating multiple data sources into a unified analytics pipeline, the system provides actionable workforce intelligence and long-term skill evolution forecasting.

Problem

Rapid advancements in AI and automation are changing workforce requirements, making it difficult for professionals and organizations to identify which skills will remain valuable in the future.

Solution

Built a multi-source predictive analytics platform that forecasts future skill demand and calculates a Skill Extinction Score using labor market, technology adoption, and industry trend data.
