Project Overview

CampusLens is a campus-friction intelligence system that turns scattered, anonymous student reports into multidimensional insight: which problems recur, where and when they cluster, and which conditions co-occur.

The system combines anonymous issue reporting with a reproducible data warehouse, text and image mining, supervised and unsupervised learning, spatial analysis, and decision-support dashboards.

The project uses NLP-based text classification to categorize reported issues, clustering to surface hidden patterns, and spatial analysis to map problem hotspots across campus infrastructure.

Built as an academic data-mining project; benchmark data is synthetic — stated clearly throughout the repository and documentation.

Problem

Campus operational issues are reported through fragmented channels with no systematic way to identify recurring problems, spatial clusters, or co-occurring conditions.

Solution

Built a data-mining pipeline combining NLP text classification, unsupervised clustering, and spatial analysis to convert anonymous reports into structured, actionable campus intelligence.
